FY24 Outcomes

What we’ve accomplished this year.

Community

Nurses for Newborns served 3,018 pregnant mothers, newborns, and families, providing the care, education, and resources they need to build strong foundations for their children’s futures. Each connection strengthens our community and ensures families never have to face early parenthood alone.

Care

Our Registered Nurses, Community Health Workers, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers made 7,925 home visits, delivering trusted guidance and compassionate care. These visits strengthen families, promote healthy child development, and help ensure every baby has the best possible start in life.

Infant CPR Education

994 parents and caregivers were trained in infant CPR, gaining the confidence and skills to respond in an emergency. Each year, lives are saved because of the education and support families receive through Nurses for Newborns.

Safe Sleep

Over 896 portable cribs were distributed, ensuring more infants have a safe and secure place to sleep. Through education and support, Nurses for Newborns helps families create safe sleep environments that protect babies from preventable injuries and reduce the risk of sleep-related deaths.

Dry & Fed

Over 225,000 diapers and 500 containers of formula were distributed to families in need, ensuring babies stay clean, healthy, and nourished. By meeting these essential needs, Nurses for Newborns helps relieve family stress and supports a safe, stable start for every child.

Prevention

99.4% of children served by Nurses for Newborns were free from abuse or neglect. Through early intervention, education, and ongoing support, NFN helps families build safe, nurturing homes where children can grow and thrive.
