Who We Are: Nurses for Newborns is a locally recognized nonprofit organization that provides home-based services to promote the health, safety, and well-being of babies and their families. Our vision is that all families thrive and every baby realizes their full potential. Located in the states of MO and TN we provide over 10,000 visits annually to support babies and their caregivers.

The HR Manager works closely with our leadership team to foster a positive culture where employees feel valued and engaged in our mission.

Qualifications:

Key Duties Include:

  • Accounts payable duties, including proper invoice coding, entering information into the financial system and processing of payments.
  • Handles tracking and reporting of client assistance expenditures.
  • Enters deposits, cash receipts and assists with month-end cash receipts reconciliation.
  • Assists with month-end journal entries including monthly accruals.
  • Maintains accounting files.
  • Assists with special projects, as necessary.

Specifications and Core Competencies:

  • Some college coursework in accounting or finance or equivalent experience required. Associate’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience preferred. 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance preferred.
  • Strong interest in fiscal integrity
  • Skills in excellent customer service, both internal and external.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge Microsoft and Windows applications with specific skills in Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle conflicting priorities and deadlines appropriately.
  • Ability to be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
