Quality Assurance Specialist

Nurses for Newborns (NFN) is looking for you to be our Quality Assurance Specialist!

About You: You have the ability to communication effectively with various audiences including explanation of technical information. You have intermediate to advanced knowledge of MAC hardware and software and working knowledge of Microsoft and Windows. Your are skilled in both internal and external customer service and have effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills. You can work independently as well as within in a team environment. You have the ability to be flexible in a dynamic work environment and can multi-task as well as handle conflicting priorities and deadlines appropriately.

About us: Nurses for Newborns is an independent non-profit organization serving thousands of babies and families each year in St. Louis City, County and numerous surrounding counties.

The Quality Assurance Specialist assumes primary management of NFN’s evaluation, accreditation and research activities.

Primary duties include:
Constructs and runs data queries and creates user reports. Assists with data quality review.
Establishes, reviews and maintains client outcome summaries in collaboration with clinical leadership
Data analysis of client fidelity and satisfaction surveys and reporting of findings to leadership
Staff instruction and training. Supports and coordinates identified training needs
Ensures accreditation requirements, including compliance with accreditation standards are incorporated into the planning and evaluation process and coordinates and tracks actions related to such
Supports and fosters relationships in the research academic community and works with outside researchers on grants, analyzing experimental study designs for compatibility with NFN protocols and data
Works collaboratively with others to publish manuscripts that involve the NFN model

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years data and research experience. Advanced degree and/or experience in health and human services a plus.
